October 14, 2012 - A website project of the Clinic has officially became a partnership of community legal clinics. Clinic to deliver youth-focused seminars on housing-related matters

October 14, 2012 - Community Legal Clinic – Simcoe, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes will be delivering public legal education seminars to youth across Simcoe County, Haliburton County and the City of Kawartha Lakes. The seminars will focus on housing issues relevant to youth, including discrimination on the basis of age in obtaining housing, substandard housing and tenant rights and responsibilities. More information regarding these seminars including dates and locations will be released closer to our anticipated launch date of April 2012. Poverty Reduction Strategy initiative extended

February 15, 2012 - The Clinic is participating in the Poverty Reduction Strategy initiative for the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County. The initiative is seeking views on poverty in the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County by on-line survey. The survey deadline has just been extended to February 29, 2012. - Continue Reading

January 31, 2012 - The Community Legal Clinic – Simcoe, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes is launching an enhanced communications program. All Clinic news, updates, and communiqués will be published on Communitylegalclinic.ca. This website will replace all past newsletters and e-bulletins.
