Inter-agency interview by alliance to end homelessness passes milestone

October 15, 2012 - On November 1, 2012 the Community Legal Clinic - Simcoe, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes is joining other members of the North Simcoe Alliance to End Homelessness (NSCATEH) for a first look at a new interactive interview for interagency referrals. The development of this interview has been spearheaded by the WIT Project (Whatever It Takes) with the help of Communitylegalcinic.com. Clinic to deliver youth-focused seminars on housing-related matters

Community Legal Clinic – Simcoe, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes will be delivering public legal education seminars to youth across Simcoe County, Haliburton County and the City of Kawartha Lakes. The seminars will focus on housing issues relevant to youth, including discrimination on the basis of age in obtaining housing, substandard housing and tenant rights and responsibilities. February 15, 2012 - On Monday, Staff Lawyer Lisa Loader, assisted by the Clinic’s articling student Holly Gomes, appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario (Doherty, Laskin JJA, Brown RSJ) in the matter of R. v.
